Does my child have to sign up for the entire program?

While we recommend the entire program, it isn't necessary. All of the lessons are stand alone, and a child can start or quit the program anytime.

Is there a penalty for ending the program early?

There is no ending penalty. We recommend that you end the program at the end of a month, as refunds will not be given for partial months. The only exception to partial tuition is in the first month of signing up, if you sign up in the middle of the month.

What happens if my student misses a class? Do we get a refund for that class?

There is no penalty for missing a class, and since all of the lessons don't need previous lessons, they don't miss anything but that lesson. There are no refunds for missed classes, as most of the materials are purchased in advance for the class.

How do you pay?

You can pay online through a credit card from a link on the tuition bill, or in person with credit card, check, or cash. Checks should be made out to Adventures of Science Club.

Can we set up recurring billing on a credit card?

You can. Upon receipt of the first tuition bill, instead of paying online, meet with our School Director when you pick up your student. They can process the payment then and store the card for future payments. The payments will be processed on the first of every month.

Does my child need to bring anything?

The only thing the students need to bring is a snack. We allow the children to eat their snacks between when school lets out and when the club begins, usually about 20 minutes. Everything else is provided.

I have multiple children, can more than one sign up? is there a multiple child discount?

You can sign up all of your children for the science club, many of our students are siblings. There isn't a multiple child discount for the seats available at this time.

Are all of the students together?

The students are separated into their respective age groups. 1 - 2, 3 - 5, and 6 - 8. Each group has a separate teacher and teacher assistant.

How many students are allowed per group?

There can be as many students as wants to sign up in each age group. At every 6-8 students, a teacher assistant is added to keep the groups close to a one-on-one feeling for both the teachers and the students.

My child is signing up for another year of the program. will they be doing the same lessons and experiments?

The students learn 25 lessons a year. Out of those 25, approximately 10-12 of them are repeated year after year. This is only the subject however, the lesson and the experiments are different every year. For example, atoms and molecules are taught every year, but the experiments the children do will be different. This ensures the child gets a strong foundation, but doesn't get bored with the lessons.
